The Defender Press & Evaculate is a fire alarm call point, commonly known as a manual call point or break-glass call point. It is a self-contained, battery-operated device featuring a siren and a flashing strobe light. It is equipped with a straightforward push-on/push-off button and a multi-link capability, enabling users to manually activate the fire alarm within a building. Upon activation, the alarm system notifies workers of a possible fire hazard.

Description
The Defender press and evacuate alarm has four moulded depressions in the back mounting plate for easy wall or post mounting.
This standalone fire alarm can be linked to 25 Defender HFR100 models in parallel using a suitable twin-core bell wire. + and – terminals should be linked from each unit through the screw terminals.
We recommend the Defender HFR100 is tested weekly and the PP3 battery replaced every 12 months using zinc or alkaline batteries.
